Botanica & Co. believes flowers are not decoration. They are language. A gesture made visible, tangible, impossible to misread.

We are a high-end floral studio that still feels human. Our work is refined and considered, but the people behind it are warm and easy to talk to. There is no gap between the beauty of the arrangements and the experience of working with us.

We serve people who notice details: the professional who understands that a beautifully arranged lobby says something before anyone speaks, the host who wants every part of an occasion to feel intentional, the person who wants a gift that truly reflects the one receiving it.

06 — Voice & Tone

How we speak.

Warm

We write the way a knowledgeable friend would talk to you, not the way a brand tries to impress you. Direct, genuine, a little personal. The tone says: we know what we're doing, and we actually care about your occasion.

Specific

We name the moment, name the person, name the feeling. Generic copy signals generic work. Every piece of writing should feel like it was written for one particular reader, not a demographic.

Confident

No overselling, no exclamation marks, no superlatives we haven't earned. We let the work do the heavy lifting and write copy that trusts the reader to recognize quality when they see it.

"She's turning 30 and you want the flowers to actually say something. We can help you figure out what that is."

Lighting

Natural, directional. Soft window light or diffused outdoor. No flash. Rich shadows are welcome.

Color Grade

Warm and slightly muted. Pull back saturation on backgrounds. Let the florals carry the color.

Composition

Generous negative space. Off-center subjects. Texture in the foreground. Avoid dead-center symmetry.

Avoid

Bright stock photo looks. Marble flat lays. Heavy filters. Oversaturated tropicals. Anything that reads generic.

  • Use Bodoni Moda for all primary headings
  • Maintain generous white space in every layout
  • Keep gold as an accent, never flood a composition with it
  • Light text on dark backgrounds, dark text on light
  • Write with specificity: name the occasion, name the person
  • Use the gold top-border detail consistently on cards
  • Minimum 0.2em letter-spacing on all-caps labels
Never do
  • Place the logo on busy photographic backgrounds
  • Stretch, skew, or recolor the wordmark
  • Introduce neon, pastel, or off-brand accent colors
  • Use bold DM Sans for headlines — that belongs to Bodoni Moda
  • Write in exclamation-heavy, generic sales language
  • Dark text on dark backgrounds or light on light
  • Apply drop shadows or gradients to the logo
